My complaint involves multiple issues: 1) contract issues 2) billing issues and 3) services issues. Service issue: I called TruTech at the end of 2012 because my wife and I heard animal activity in our attic.

TruTech came our and stated that we did have animal activity and that they could service our home for a onetime fee of ~$500 and then a annual contract paid monthly since for $75/per month. They came out and found ONE rodent however they stated that there is ALWAYS more than one and these animals travel in packs. Over the last 12 months Trutech only captured ONE rodent vs. the multiple rodents that they stated were in my attic.

Contract issue: I did sign a annual contract paid monthly based on what Trutech recommended and stated that I would have many more than ONE rodent. After a couple of months of no animal activity, I did fight to change my contract from a $50/per month fee to $100/ every two months and that they normally did not provide this service. I had to speak to the district manager (Kevin) who "allowed" me to move from month to month to bi-monthly. He did put pressure on me to keep my month to month contract in place.

I later found out that they would lose commission dollars moving from the month to month contract. Billing issue: I called Trutech late in 2013 to cancel my contract. The district manager, Kevin stated that there was a $0 balance and the contract was canceled. In the next 30 days, I received another bill stating that this was the "final bill" and after this payment the contract would be cancelled.

I called multiple times into Trutech corporate office as well as their collections person (Candy) however did not receive a call back. I finally paid the bill of $103.75 on 12/26.

Monetary Loss: $1056.

I bet anything that in the near future you get another bill. Theyll justify it by saying oh its our personal policy to continually bill you for life. Say thank you lobbyists.
